MULTI LABORATORY
PLATFORMS
LAPLACE hosts two multi-laboratory platforms, opened to external requests for research and services.
These two platforms, accredited by the CNRS, concern:
– The “hydrogen-energy” domain: Located in Labège on the Toulouse INP campus, the Hydrogen Platform currently covers 600 m2 and operates and develops more than 30 experimental benches. The platform involves 4 laboratories in Toulouse (LAPLACE, CIRIMAT, IMFT and LGC). Research activities mainly concern the study and understanding of materials, components and systems for fuel cells and hydrogen electrolysers under various operating conditions and power ranges.
– The “power electronic integration” domain: Located on the campus of the University of Toulouse 3 – Paul Sabatier, the 3DPHI platform is shared by a dozen national academic laboratories. The platform’s research activities involve the innovative 3D integration of passive and active power electronics functions, with the aim of reducing volumes while increasing the power available.
